G’day world. Its been a while since I did a update…but since I’m half dead, weak, and unable to do anything (bloody flu/virus thingy!), might as well update my blog.

On Friday night I assisted Justine with filming her music group at a recording studio in Moorabin, using the Canon XM2 and, for the first practical use, my new shoulder support to go for it. From around 6pm-ish to about 12:12am-ish, managed to tape 4hrs of footage. However, due to the flu starting to make an entrance that night, I fear the footage may portray the camera operator as “drunk” - was feeling a tad light headed that night.

On a personal note, I’m that my shoulder support thing snapped on me towards the end of the recording time, and now the attachment is stuck up the camcorder’s butt (my guess is when I caught it somehow got a bit screwy). I’m taking it to a repair workplace tomorrow…hopefully…if I can make it.

Monday was scheduled to be the first day of shooting ‘Pads’. However, damn the flu, got knocked out when I woke up and was unable to barely walk or talk. Sherwin informed me the day went better than he expected, and that his extras were very eager to work. Mark’s scene of being attacked by the Pad’s P.O.V. was also filmed. Personally I’m looking forward to seeing what was done.

Pretty much from Monday till today, I’ve been busy lying on the couch, and in between sleeps been having TV shows run by me for “research” for episodic succesful series. This includes Red vs Blue Seasons 1-4 and Stargate SG1. Up to the fifth season…I think.

Received a memo that my preordered Jaws: 30th Annaversary Edition is available and being shipped out, so should recieve it soon. Excellent research material for old Hollywood classics and shark movies.

Havn’t been able to do any computer work - can only focus for about 10mins before I get dizzy and sleepy…which is about now. Logging off, hoping to get back at Tafe next week
